JWW as a Participant in BCC For the Future: Leaders of Tomorrow 2024
On October 10th and 11th, JWW Accounting Office participated in the prestigious BCC For the Future: Leaders of Tomorrow 2024 event, an inspiring gathering of business leaders, industry visionaries, and representatives from the government sector. Organized by the Business Centre Club (BCC), this conference brought together an exceptional network of professionals dedicated to innovation, growth, and sustainable development.
This was the second event organized under this theme, held this time at the Warsaw Presidential Hotel. Numerous discussion panels covered topics such as digitalization, green transformation, and building resilience to economic crises. The evening culminated in a gala ceremony for the Marek Goliszewski Visionary of the Polish Economy Award, named in honor of the BCC’s founder and long-time president.
The special guest at the event was Leszek Miller, Prime Minister from 2001 to 2004, who highlighted the importance of Poland’s entry into the European Union, marking its 20th anniversary this year.
As we meet here today at the BCC conference, economic matters naturally take the forefront. Since joining the European Union, Poland has made tremendous progress – GDP per capita has risen from 40% to 80% of the EU average, bringing us closer to the EU median. Since May 1, 2004, Poland has received a net of approximately 174 billion euros. However, the true benefit comes from the common market and the free movement of people, capital, services, and goods, which generate far greater resources than EU funds. This can be seen in our cities, investments, and schools. For young people, the European Union is an incredible opportunity – they have access to the entire area from the Bug River to Portugal, with no borders and full freedom to choose where to live, work, or study. This is an opportunity no previous generation of Poles has had – emphasized Prime Minister Leszek Miller.
The theme, “Leaders of Tomorrow,” aligned perfectly with JWW’s mission of driving progress through state-of-the-art, client-centered solutions and strategies.
Our presence at this event underscored our commitment to providing businesses with access to modern technology and expertise that enable seamless digital transformation.
